About Us

Port City Volunteers: The volunteer program at Port City Development Center (Port City) connects individuals with opportunities for meaningful community service. We’ve been lending a helping hand at organizations all around Portland and having a lot of fun in the process. Our participants are building skills, trying new things, exploring job interests, and meeting new people. We believe that volunteering is a worthwhile pursuit in any well-rounded life, and can be an important stepping-stone on the path to realizing employment goals in addition to increasing a sense of belonging and contributing to the community we live in.
