Volunteering at the Humane Society (or as Sean prefers to call it, "the Pet Society") is really fun.
At first Leza was scared of the dogs, but she was brave and got over her fear pretty quickly once she saw how sweet they were.With her willingness to try something new combined with some reassurance from Mary, Leza ended up having a great time and told us "I'm glad I did it". Here she is in the outdoor kennel with Boomer, taking a break from playing fetch.
Emily said "I am so in heaven right now" more times than I could count when she was hanging out with the many adoptable cats. Here she is helping make sure they get the attention and affection they need while at the shelter.
We can't wait until we go back in June!
