Volunteering with Store to Door

Emily: I enjoyed volunteering for the grocery shopping for the elderly. I learned how to know what the right price is and the lowest price is, and which is you could actually afford. I liked wearing those badges and I felt like I was one of those employees that worked there.

Verl: Me too. I wish I could have kept the badges.

Emily: What did you learn though, Verl?

Verl: Um, yeah, I've learned that everyone depended on me when I was steering the cart. I liked the Starbucks too. I felt like the characters on Friends where you sit on the chair, on the couch and stuff.

Emily: I liked helping other people, too, besides the elderly. Maybe I can help the homeless too. I enjoyed how people were nice to me.

Verl: I wish that we could do it more often.
